Malvern House

"When we first contacted Andrew we only had a vague idea of what we wanted.

We were building a new home with a front courtyard. I wanted to have privacy, yet a street view, colour and aroma in the garden, yet easy to maintain and green.

Added to that mix was a west facing aspect with the other compass points all thrown in for good measure. And we needed fencing, rendering and paving and a patio to be tiled, a driveway and a crossover.

Even after our initial meeting with Ashley and Andrew, we knew we were going to be in good hands. We were listened to carefully, and within an hour of our first meeting, Ashley sent a summary of of our discussion to make sure all points were covered and recorded.

About a week or so after, we were sent comprehensive plans showing plantings, types of plants, ideas for fencing, paving, irrigation system, water feature, etc. Their concept really reflected and enhanced our wants.

We were rapt.
Andrew and his team organised for any necessary permits, and, once construction began, were immensely reliable and professional.

It seemed as if nothing was too difficult. Coordination was seamless and Andrew, Ashley and team took an enthusiastic interest in the works.

The finished product is ...well... just great. The courtyard with its cantilevered seat and water feature and plantings just lends itself for a relaxing coffee and snack or a casual BBQ or just reading a good book. When a breeze blows, the leaves rustle and the flowers' aroma fills the air.

It looks as if the house and garden were conceived as one.
