The contemporary design of this garden had two main purposes: to be kid-friendly and to include multiple entertainment spaces.

On a sloping block such as this, integration is  the key to creating a garden that will be easy to enjoy. The wide sweeping steps up to the grassed area connect the upper and lower spaces together as one.

We used the same pavers but set in different patterns to allow for a subtle sense of change throughout the garden

Low-maintenance native plants suited the client's needs. And yes, the cat seemed to love it too!
