The Boulevard project required a front garden to complement and respect the traditional home. The design was based around creating an entrance that not only directed visitors from the street to the front door, but also guided them through different points of the garden. This was achieved by creating a central paved area where all paths merged. The focal point is a rustic geometric sculpture, which is directly seen when entering the garden.
The rendered and wrought iron steel front fence was also a feature of this project. The design of this boundary has been staggered back in sections to provide pockets of planting on the street side, allowing the garden to seep through at various points. This creates a softer appearance from the street as well as from the interior.
"So much interest and detail was put into the visual aspect of both front and back gardens. I love my decking, plants used and my outdoor BBQ area. What a difference it makes to use a landscape architect who is sensitive to your needs, with the end result being a garden that is so pleasing to the eye. Whyte Gardens thorough and professional approach was constant throughout the whole design and implementation process."

"The task was challenging with tight local regulations and a difficult block with which to work. We were delighted with their initial design and their professionalism in the build phase. They transformed the block into a landscape of which we are very proud. The design is sensitive to both the local community and to our home."
